Emmerdale has revealed newcomer Suzy shares a secret link with existing resident Leyla Harding on the ITV soap, and it appears they are hiding something huge.
Leyla recently made a cryptic phone call that left viewers convinced she had a secret, as they speculated over who she was talking to.
Her other recent behaviour has made it clear something is not right, and in scenes to air next week it emerges she has a secret - and maybe more than one.
She shares a surprise link with Vanessa Woodfield's new love interest Suzy, and Leyla is rattled to find her in the village.
As soon as she locks eyes on her it's apparent Leyla already knows her, and that she is not happy to see her.
Vanessa will question their link when she sees Leyla's reaction, but it seems the whole truth is yet to emerge.
It all kicks off when Vanessa's date plans go wrong when her son Johnny falls ill, and she's forced to stay at home with him.
When Suzy shows up to her house believing she was stood up, Vanessa explains the situation and asks to take her out on a date.
Later in the week Vanessa takes her wine tasting at David Metcalfe's shop, and the pair get to know each other some more before heading to the pub.
But as Leyla walks in and spots Suzy, she can't hide her shock and fear over her secrets coming to light.
Vanessa is curious about how they know each other, leading to Suzy claiming they met through work - both working in events planning.
Leyla is clearly shaken by the whole encounter, and she's later reassured by Suzy that she will keep all her secrets for her.
But what exactly is Leyla hiding, and what does it have to do with the newcomer?
It follows Wendy Posner being suspicious about her going AWOL, days after she took a cryptic phone call from a mystery person.
Claiming it to be linked to work, it soon seemed this wasn't the case though as Leyla was clearly hiding something from Liam.
She said: "Hi, I thought I was supposed to be ringing you? No, I can't, not right now. Do you know what? I'll meet you later, okay?"
Leyla then ended the chat and did not mention it or who it was calling her to Liam or anyone else.
Fans began speculating who she was on the phone to and why, with one questioning if she could have been talking to Meena's prison guard Ian.
Other fans questioned if Andrea Tate, murdered by Meena in October, could actually still be alive and could be the person talking to Leyla.
