Emmerdale fans are convinced Nicky Miligan's sudden change in behaviour will lead to him being exposed, but that it won't end well.
Viewers are convinced Kim Tate will become aware he is hiding something, and will suspect he is the mystery heir of her late ex-husband Frank Tate.
Fans questioned whether Nicky's change in personality overnight will lead to his downfall, and lead to Kim taking revenge against him - when in fact she should be watching out for Caleb Miligan.
Her business partner Caleb is Nicky's father, something no one in the village knows about. They are both taking revenge on Kim, planning to steal everything she has including Home Farm.
It follows the big reveal that Caleb is the secret son of Frank, and he wants what is owed to him
Kim knows that there is a mystery heir out there somewhere ready to cause trouble, after getting a letter from their lawyer.
The son of Frank sent her a letter revealing their link to the Tates and that they wanted their inheritance, while no name was given.
Caleb acted like he knew nothing about it when he was told by Kim, while viewers know he sent the letter to mess with her head.
With Kim keen to stop them getting their hands on her money and desperate to find out who the son is, fans think she might believe it to be Nicky.
After Nicky's nice guy act dropped in certain scenes this week, fans realised he was putting on an act to get close to Gabby Thomas, the mother of Kim's grandson.
He is after her and Thomas' share of Kim's fortune, but fans are betting he will slip-up at some point with him struggling to keep the lie going.
Now, viewers are speculating whether Kim, knowing there is an heir, will decide that Nicky has to be Frank's mystery son after his arrival in December.
They're guessing Kim will clock his change in behaviour around the time the letter arrived, not to mention him proposing to Gabby after months of dating.
Taking to Twitter, a viewer said: "Kim is going to think Nicky is Frank's son isn't she?" as several others agreed.
Meanwhile fans also shared their thoughts on Nicky exposing his own plan, with one tweet reading: "Will Nicky lose it with Thomas, his attitude is definitely changing and he might just mess it all up if he does because Gabby and Kim will go mad if he hurts Thomas."
Another tweeted: "Nobody has clocked that Nicky has turned from an amiable chappie to a tetchy teenager overnight!!"
A third fan said: "Nicky’s whole demeanour has changed, body language and facial expressions, his entire aura has changed. People would notice."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
