Emmerdale welcomed some new additions during Thursday's episodes as Dawn attended her late friend Beth's funeral.
Wednesday's episode saw Dawn shaken after receiving news that her best friend had died of an overdose. The friend, Beth, had never been mentioned before, but she explained to Kim that they became close while "on the game" together.
Dawn said Beth "always had her back" and that she wouldn't have survived without her.

After telling Billy, she, Beth and another girl named Jade had been "like family", she declared she had to go to Beth's funeral. Billy wanted to go with her, but she said it was a part of her past she was ashamed of and would rather go alone.
After the service, Dawn was approached by Jade, who said: "You look the same, softer", and Dawn joked: "I used to wear too much makeup". Jade then twisted Dawn's arm into going back to hers for a drink, despite Dawn not really wanting to.
Back at Jade's flat, Dawn spotted a small child sleeping in a dog bed in the kitchen - while Jade got high in the next room.
Jade was played by Abigail Uttley, and some soap fans may recognise her from Coronation Street. Abigail played Adam Barlow's ex girlfriend Naomi in a number of episodes last year.
She also starred on the cobbles in 2012, as Cherry, a lap-dancer who turned up at the Rovers looking for Se7enth Hea7en where she was due an audition. Abigail has also had TV roles in The Royal Today, Cold Feet and Doctors.
