Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley would love to see the show film in a different country.
As Emmerdale fans might recall, the soap has filmed away from England before in the special The Dingles Down Under which followed Mandy Dingle, Zak Dingle and Marlon Dingle and others in Australia.
Now, Lisa Riley, 45, who plays Mandy Dingle wants to see Emmerdale filmed in Ireland and has teased a few possible storylines.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Lisa said she was inspired by a recent trip over to Ireland.
Lisa, who first started playing Mandy Dingle back in the 1990s, said: “They love Emmerdale over there, I’ve never had such a big reaction. I have lots of family in Ireland and this was the first time I’d been since the pandemic.
“I’d love to film some episodes in Ireland. The show has done it before, Paddy and Marlon went on location to Belfast when Paddy’s dad Bear was introduced.
“The Dingles have relatives in Ireland. I’m sure Mandy has a cousin in Galway. Then there’s the drinking - Mandy would love that!”

So, we might well see an Irish Emmerdale special soon if Lisa Riley’s desires are anything to go by.
Lisa said during her trip to Ireland she was stopped by many fans who all said the same thing to her regarding the impending conclusion to the infamous Meena Jutla’s reign of terror - which will soon see Paige Sandhu leave Emmerdale.
Lisa joked: “Everyone said Mandy needs to get her brick out and kill Meena.”
