Emmerdale legend Dominic Brunt has opened up on the funniest thing fans of the soap say to him.

Dominic Brunt, 52, who has been Paddy Dingle in Emmerdale for decades was talking as part of the documentary Emmerdale - 50 Unforgettable Years. In one segment, the programme touched upon some of the biggest weddings and characters who have been prolific with marriages.

Paddy is certainly a contender having been married many times. The character has been married to Mandy Dingle, Emily Dingle, Rhona Goskirk and Chas Dingle. Joking in self-deprecating fashion, Dominic said: “I get it on Twitter all the time 'how come Paddy has been married fives times and I'm on my own?'."
