As Emmerdale fans know, Jamie, played by Alex Lincoln, is alive and well after his car was seen plummeting into water.

Fans have been hoping the character will soon return - as many villagers believe he died in the crash.

Claire said: “I think all the stuff with Jamie might raise its ugly head, as Kim thinks Jamie is dead and hasn’t seen Millie – I know she’ll want to see her granddaughter.

“She will have a way of trying to find her. But I don’t know.”

The next 12 months are going to be very busy in Emmerdale for your beloved characters.

We’ll bring you more on Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary plans when we have further details.
