Brave Emmerdale star Malandra Burrows has compared her cancer diagnosis to being in a soap.
Malandra Burrows, 56, who played Kathy Glover in Emmerdale, will undergo six months of chemotherapy. The soap legend was diagnosed with breast cancer in February and has had a stage three tumour removed.
Speaking to The Mirror, she compared discovering her diagnosis to a major soap plot. Malandra explained: “When I got my diagnosis, I felt like I was back in a soap and in a storyline.”
