Emmerdale 's Caleb Miligan is hiding a dark past and more villainous behaviour it seems, as his ruthless side made an appearance this week.
Comments made to his son Nicky Miligan alluded to his hidden antics with it suggested he has "destroyed" people away from the village, amid his plan against Kim Tate.
As he issued a sinister threat to a scared Nicky, he told his secret son that he knew full well what he was capable of.
The fact he is willing to "destroy" his own son and hinted that it's something he's done in the past to others, suggested to viewers that he may be harbouring a dark past and some questionable actions.
It all kicked off when Nicky said he didn't want to help Caleb with his plan to target Kim any longer, leading to him being attacked on Thursday night.
Viewers know that Caleb is the secret son of Frank Tate, the late husband of Kim.
Caleb wants to avenge his dad's death in 1997 believing Kim killed him, somehow hearing that she was involved.
Viewers who watched the show back then will have seen Kim standing by as Frank suffered a heart attack, before leaving him to die after hiding his pills and refusing to call for help.
It's not yet known how Caleb knows about this given only Kim was there before she fled, while it's no doubt been speculated in the village for decades.
Caleb wants revenge on Kim and to fleece her for everything she owns, believing it was his dad's fortune and belongs to him.
He's tasked Nicky with marrying Gabby Thomas, the mother of Kim's grandson Thomas Tate, in the hope of getting every bit of her fortune.
But Nicky finally confirmed his sexuality to his dad this week, as he continued to seek comfort in his secret lover Ally - not wanting to go through with the wedding.
While Caleb initially seemed supportive he soon fumed at his son for him wanting to back out of their plan.
Grabbing his son and threatening him, he shouted: "No, no you can and you will... my son does what I tell him, no questions asked. If you mess this up, family or not I will destroy you. You know that I can."
Nicky seemed genuinely scared of his dad, so does this mean Caleb has destroyed someone before his vendetta against Kim?
If so, it suggests there is much more to him and what he's capable of - and it also hints there's another big secret about his past waiting to explode.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
