Emmerdale airs dramatic and deadly scenes in the coming weeks on the ITV soap, with a special set of episodes.
Dubbed 'flashforward week', viewers will be given a glimpse of huge scenes ahead, before all is revealed at the end of the week.
Lives will be in grave danger with several characters taking centre stage, with a "terrifying" stunt set to wreak havoc.
But producer Laura Shaw has confirmed that there will be more than one stunt featured in the special week, as she detailed some of the storylines that will be a focal point.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, she said: "As well as all the exciting drama the week is going to feature stunts and action too.
"We've filmed a fairly big stunt which has been really exciting to plan and build. I don't think we've done anything like it before - not in the 20 years that I've been at Emmerdale anyway - and we've had a lot of conversations and scratchings of head as to how we could achieve it.
"I remember us coming up with the story idea and we all sat in a big meeting room and I kind of pitched this idea and said, 'This is what I want us to do'.
"And I think everyone sat looking at me in stunned silence for about two minutes before everyone brilliantly just jumped in with a million brilliant ideas of how we could do it.
"In the end we had to build a very special prop, which we'll see in the episodes, to make the stunt work and how we need it to do it safely, of course."
Laura went on: "We've also used some new filming techniques on one of the stunts, which makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the action and I can tell you it's absolutely terrifying!
"Again, I don't think we've ever done it on Emmerdale before so it was really great to watch a hugely talented team do new and exciting things and make the show look absolutely incredible."
Teasing there could be a death in the dramatic scenes, she told us: "So, Noah and his obsession with Chloe, Gabby and the fears about Jamie coming back to take Thomas, we'll see some things going on with Faith that she's keeping a secret, but why?
"We'll also see the Cain and Al rivalry resurface and I can promise you that that will take a big twist in the special week and lives will definitely be in danger."
Laura also revealed all on what would lead to the big week, teasing: "We've been planning this for a while now and we know that the audience love it when we step out of our usual storytelling style.
"We've done a similar sort of thing like this before - we did the Big Night Out episode, we did Graham's murder and we're going to be following a similar pattern of episodes that start with flash-forwards that gives the audience the chance to play a bit of Emmerdale detective and see if they can work out what's going to happen during the week.
"I think it's always exciting when we do these weeks and I think Emmerdale's become really well known for them now and it's always the question I get asked the most - when are you doing it again?
"Certainly here, it gets the whole building buzzing with excitement, because everyone knows it's going to mean some stories that have been bubbling away are going to massively explode in a huge way, whilst also kicking off other stories in a big dramatic fashion that will take us through the rest of the year and to our huge 50th birthday celebrations in October."
