Emmerdale fans have predicted Dr Liam Cavanagh will go down for Meena Jutla's murder - in a final twist of fate.
Viewers of the ITV soap believe serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) has ended the life of one more victim - Dr Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) - by sending him to jail for 'murdering' her.
In scenes airing during last night's show, a fuming Liam pushed Meena off of a bridge - the same one where she had killed his daughter Leanna Cavanagh two years ago - after being goaded by her about his daughter's death.
However, some fans believe it was Meena who set Dr Liam up and actually threw herself back onto the rocks.
"She knew she was going to prison so she goaded Liam to killing her. Once again he played into her hands," one suggested.
Another added: "Did she fall or was she pushed? meena my queen… i think she saw manpreet knew she would see her & liam goaded him to make it look like he pushed her to manpreet and she threw herself back # emmerdale."
"I think meena wanted liam to kill her, it’s like she knew her time was up so she stirred the pot #emmerdale," a third shared.
One fan predicted that Liam might even got framed for all of Meena's past murders despite Manpreet and Vinny's statements about what Meena told them about the other deaths.
"Liam is going to get framed isn't he? Her stash is in his allotment. #Emmerdale #Meena," one penned.
In the sad scenes, Dr Liam cried as Meena revealed to him just what happened when she killed his daughter.
"You know," she began, "It's funny. I've been so judgemental about how stupid people are when I've been chasing them. Now look at me! Just like Andrea running right into that maze. Leanna was the stupidest though, no offence."
Liam was in tears as Meena continued to recount to him exactly what had happened when she murdered Leanna. Clearly heartbroken, Liam told Meena that Leanna wasn't stupid, just that "she didn't know someone could be that evil", as Liam made a lunge towards her.
After one final taunt about Leanna from Meena, he stormed back to her and pushed her over the bridge.
