Emmerdale fans have anticipated Jamie Tate’s return to the ITV soap after scenes involving his grieving mother Kim Tate aired on Tuesday evening.
In the episode, which was delayed from the previous week due to coverage of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Kim was sharing a glass of wine with Will Taylor when she received a text from Hazel, saying Millie would be returning to the Dales.
A perplexed Kim said: “Why the sudden change of heart. Hazel has deliberately kept me in the dark about how or where Millie is. Now she's just upped and agreed to drive her over for a dress fitting?”
