Emmerdale fans 'work out' how Charles will take down Meena

Emmerdale fans seem to think they have 'worked out' how Charles will make sure Meena Jutla stays behind bars for good.

The soap's serial killer, played by Paige Sandhu, has made chilling confessions to the vicar after he has repeatedly visited her in jail.

She is currently locked up after being charged for a string of her crimes, including the murder of Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker and Leanna Cavanagh as well as the kidnapping of many village residents.

This week's episodes have had many fans wondering what his motivations could be for seeking her out, despite also holding a support group for those affected by her crimes.

While Meena has already told him the daunting details of how she murdered Andrea and Ben, the vicar believes he could make the village villain confess to all of her crimes.

Harriet Finch warned him to be careful, amid fears he will be manipulated as Meena usually only uses people for her own twisted gains.

But fans seem to think they know exactly how Charles will bring Meena to justice once and for all and took to Twitter to share their theories.

Grianne said: "OMG if only Charles was actually wearing a hidden wire & DS Rogers were somewhere secretly listening in. Otherwise it's just gona be Meena's word against someone else's yet again unfortunately."

Ryan said: "Charles better be wearing a wire this time around #Emmerdale"

Mand said: "Charles is not a priest so it's not a confession but I do hope he's wearing a wire or the guards just stood behind say something or are they now all religious and can only take confession..#emmerdale"

Lyndsey said: "#Charles should work with the police get a wire put on to record his Conversations with #Meena & they can use it in court & get her locked up for good!! @emmerdale."

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV and ITV Hub with an additional episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
