Mackenzie Boyd has been keeping the fact he's the father of Chloe Harris' baby secret for months but Charity Dingle finally uncovered the truth on Thursday and Emmerdale fans have predicted what's next for the ITV soap stalwart.
Charity confronted her love rat husband after spotting Mack overcome with emotion as he stood with Reuben, who was recently diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.
Back in the village, Mack tried to put down his recent behaviour to being anxious about becoming a husband, but Charity refused to listen and asked: "Why were you at the hospital? Why were you sitting with Chloe's baby? Why did you tell him you were his daddy?"
Mack finally confessed: "He's mine. I'm Reuben's dad," and the beloved stalwart made it clear she will not be forgiving her new husband any time soon.
Emmerdale fans have predicted Charity will set her sights on revenge after discovering the heartbreaking news about her new husband.
One fan suggested: "Judging by Charity's reaction to Mack in the street she is done with him. #Emmerdale," while another tweeted: "If I was Mack I’d leave Emmerdale!! Charity is planning his death as we speak!! Brilliant episode: I wasn’t expecting it to come out so soon!!"
"Just caught up on Emmerdale I want Charity to wreck hell. I want utter rage and fury. I also want a Charity and Noah scene they have been the best recently. Mack is just an utter beep beep #emmerdale," a third fumed.
Another said: "If I was Charity I'd have taken the bottle and told that ridiculous excuse called Mackenzie to never darken my door again #Emmerdale," and a fifth added: "I hope Charity comes up with the mother of all revenge #emmerdale."
Meanwhile, one viewer hopes for a reunion between Charity and her former lover Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick).
They wrote: "Ok...this crap is over now, give us Vanity back, we've endured this torture long enough."
The actress is taking a break from the ITV soap after going on maternity leave.
Michelle and her wife Kate Brooks welcomed the arrival of their second child Betty in November last year.
