Emmerdale viewers are calling for the return of serial killer Meena Jutla, wanting her to spark havoc during the ITV soap's stunt week.
Characters will face grave danger next week, as a windstorm strikes the village for the show's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Some much-loved residents will be killed off, and it's been confirmed a devastating fallout will see characters struggling to come to terms with what has happened.
But amid the big stunts, including one that will see cows stampede, viewers are sharing their thoughts on whether Meena could finally return - after hints earlier this year.
Meena was finally sent to prison for her dark crimes in April, and was horrified to learn she would never be freed.
While bosses have since ruled out a return for the killer, her final scene back in April hinted there was the possibility for her to escape prison - with actress Paige Sandhu also teasing this to The Mirror in June.
With spoilers for the big storm week remaining pretty coy as to what happens and who dies, fans are now wondering if a twist could see Meena back for the final time.
Some begged the show to bring her back, wanting to see the killer cause chaos once more in time for the 50th episode.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Wish Meena would come back for Emmerdale’s anniversary."
A second viewer predicted: "Meena Escapes?" as a third wrote: "Let the fun begin," with a picture of the character.
Another tweeted: "Is meena back!?!?!??" while another referenced hints of a murder by the bosses earlier this year, saying: "emmerdale literally said that the storm covers up a murder and if that isn't meena returning for revenge on someone then i'm gonna require some form therapy to cope with the confirmation that i've lost her forever this time."
Bosses had not actually confirmed a murder, but speaking to The Mirror and other press in August they suggested it was a possibility.
Jane Hudson spilled: "This is our 50th birthday in October, and we thought instead of just celebrating one day, why don't we celebrate the whole month to mark our 50th.
"And that's exactly what we're going to be doing. So in Emmerdale style, we have got every story imaginable.
"There is always the potential for a murder in Emmerdale, this is Emmerdale. You know, it's famous for its murders. It's Emmerdale so there's often a murderer lurking around the corner somewhere."
