Emmerdale viewers suspect Ethan is having an affair behind Marcus' back.
Marcus came downstairs to a frosty reception from his partner after he brushed off his morning welcome. Ethan wasn't interested in most of the conversation and instead diverted his attention to whoever he was speaking to on the phone.
A defeated Marcus said he was hoping they could go househunting soon but was shut down again in favour of work. Marcus said: "Do you actually want us to get a place together? Why does it feel like I'm the only one ever putting in the effort?

"It'd be nice if you could make some time for us, that's all." Ethan agreed but quickly rushed out the door after receiving a concerning text.
A message from a man called Toby said: "I can't wait to see you for lunch!" The surprise correspondence sent alarm bells ringing with viewers who suspect Ethan is seeing someone behind his partner's back.
One fan said: "Do you think Ethan is having an affair." Another added: "Ethan’s bailing again, poor Marcus is getting paranoid."
While a third viewer said: "Marcus gets suspicious over Ethan." A final added: "Why did I have a feeling that Ethan was cheating on Marcus even before he took his phone out to see who texted him?"
A suspicious Marcus followed Ethan in secret and saw him cosying up with a mystery man in his car as they sped off. He returned to the Woolpack to debrief on the situation with Noah but said: "I thought we had a future together."
