Emmerdale fans were not impressed on Monday evening as it was confirmed that Liv Flaherty will remain in jail.
Poor Liv (Isobel Steele) was arrested on suspicion of murdering Ben Tucker - and Vinny Dingle has been fighting to get her released ever since.
Vinny (Bradley Johnson) knows that Liv is innocent, and it was actually evil nurse Meena Jutla who murdered Ben.
The latest instalment of the ITV soap saw the police question Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) about what her younger sister told her about the murders.
Meena (Paige Sandhu) confessed all to her sibling at the end of last year, and fled the village after holding both Manpreet and Vinny hostage.
Manpreet is currently still in hospital, but struggled when the policeman grilled her about what had happened.
Later on, the policeman paid Vinny a visit - but he didn't have good news.
Speaking about Meena's confession, he said: "It's evidence of what Miss Jutla told Miss Sharma but not what she did.
"We can't drop the charges on the basis of what Miss Sharma told you," he continued.
"So for the time being, the charges against Miss Flaherty remain."
Emmerdale fans spotted a series of plot holes and blunders and were quick to take to Twitter to comment.
One person posted: "So this alone would enable Liv an appeal as new evidence has come forward. The writing is terrible. #Emmerdale."
Another said: "Considering they didn't even know Andrea or Leanna's deaths were murders I'm not sure what they would have held back #Emmerdale."
Someone else tweeted: "Wow. #Emmerdale make the police look stupid and bad at their jobs."
And a different viewer pointed out: "Usually the police are in the resus room waiting to get answers...it's take almost 3 weeks to talk to Manpreet #Emmerdale."
Another viewer tweeted: "Again, there's no hard evidence that Liv killed Ben. Sh*t police. #Emmerdale."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
