The fate of Samson Dingle remains very much in the balance after the cataclysmic storm which has already claimed the lives of two people on ITV soap Emmerdale.
Liv Dingle and Harriet Finch both died in the storm which has been the centrepiece of the soap's 50th anniversary celebrations and question marks now linger over the fate of Sam Dingle's son Samson. He has been missing since the turbulent weather hit the Dales village and no one has been able to contact him due to him losing his phone.
On Thursday, his phone was shown smashed up the floor in a field. This led to many presuming he had died in the storm and on Friday his phone was seen again - but in a completely different location.

This blunder did not go unnoticed among Emmerdale fans as scenes aired on Friday, October 21, showed the phone in the woods when a jogger went past it.
Picking up on the location blunder, Emmerdale viewers tweeted in their droves about the mistake. @BardenShaun posted: "Samson's phone has got legs, seems to be moving around more then samson himself #emmerdale."

Samson's phone moved on it's own, Eve has a new haircolor, and Amelia's premature newborn looks like a three month old already... Come on, man!"
@LilacDixie also posted: "Amazing how Samson's phone in #emmerdale miraculously moved from the middle of a field to the woods since last nights episode."
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV One.
