Emmerdale fans have slammed multiple "unrealistic" and "childish" storylines as tensions run high in the Dales.
During tonight's episode, both Manpreet Sharma and Dan Spencer issued threats. The latter told Noah Dingle to break it off with his pregnant daughter Amelia while Manpreet warned Naomi Walters, the daughter of the man she is dating, that she makes "a better friend than I do an enemy".
Meanwhile, Chas Dingle and Al Chapman have been sneaking around behind everyone's back until Belle Dingle caught them red-handed. Belle, who threatened to expose them, has been watching the duo like a hawk and has made it incredibly difficult for them to meet.

This has now prompted Al to bring his lover a "secret" phone so she could at least contact him "every now and then". Viewers were already quite unhappy about the affair but have now slammed Al's action as "childish" and told him to "bugger off".
Others pointed out some issues with the plotline and also complained about tonight's episode, saying that some of the characters were not convincing.
Meg complained: "I don't know why I still watch Emmerdale it's awful. The only person I like is Faith and they're killing her off.
"The vicars lot are just the most recent in a long list of horrible people."
Butterfly wrote: "On fast forward again…this programme has become so disappointing…"
Mags W tweeted: "The writers really need to at least make storylines just a bit believable...Kerry as some sort of decent mother figure is just not believable in the slightest..."
Steve observed: "The vicar that rarely vicars and the GP that rarely GPs and Dan the mafia."
Emma said: "If Chas and Al could get hit by a bus that would be great."
Sharon Forbes asked: "What about a charger as well for the phone Al gave to Chas?"
Rhys Thompson wondered: "How does Chas charge this phone up then? He never gave her a cable, also how does she get away with using another phone which looks like a drug dealer phone?"
And Joolz commented: "A secret phone. How childish!"
