Emmerdale fans don’t think the village makes vicars like it used to.
During Tuesday evening’s episode, Billy Fletcher made the shock revelation to vicar Charles that it was in fact him who knocked over Alex - who is currently in hospital fighting for his life. Although, police investigating the incident believe Charles, innocent until this point, was involved.
Charles was left facing a moral dilemma at the end of the latest edition of the ITV soap. Before the reveal, Charles told Billy: “Whatever it is, you are safe here.”
