Emmerdale fans slam 'embarrassing' storyline as Charity and Mackenzie arrested hours before wedding

Emmerdale fans have slammed the 'cringe' storyline in Wednesday's episode.

In Wednesday's (April 19) episode of Emmerdale Moira had rented Face's van out of the A Team for Charity and Mack, after Charity had said it would be the 'perfect present'. While the couple, who are set to be married tomorrow, went for a test drive in the van they were arrested by PC Swirling - in what has been dubbed a 'cringe' storyline.

While out for their drive in the Dales the pair pulled over to 'test out' the van - complete with the fancy dress costumes.

The episode then showed the pair locked in the police cells, where they looked back over their relationship. It ended with Charity saying "I will never let anyone get in the way of our relationship". A clip of Mack was shown looking doubtful.
