Emmerdale fans think a character has secretly returned to the village as Rishi Sharma has sensed something weird is going on. Rishi thinks a mystery intruder is living there and fans think they know who it is.
Rishi currently lives in the house alone, and has noticed some odd goings on from kitchen jars being moved, to the kettle being filled up and the weird noises too, reports The Mirror. In the latest episode, Rishi was so spooked he left the house after hearing noises upstairs and calling out, but getting no reply. The soap seemed to confirm there was someone messing with Rishi, as one of the curtains was pulled back and then let go as Rishi stared up at a window.
In upcoming scenes, Rishi's son Jai will believe Rishi is making it up or is just lonely, after his daughter Priya left the village. But viewers are questioning whether a character might have returned in secret, and is possibly hiding at the house.
