Emmerdale fans were left hot under the collar as Nate Robinson stripped down to his underwear in Monday evening’s instalment of the ITV soap.
In the episode Nate (Jurell Carter) called in to visit his ex Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) after she suddenly returned to the Dales last week on the soap.
Nate was delighted to be reunited with daughter Frankie after months apart, but was quickly in an awkward position amid his blossoming romance with newcomer Naomi.
Their relationship now looks in peril after Monday evening’s episode, as Nate and Tracy felt their feelings flare up once again when he arrived at Tracy’s house to spend time with little Frankie.
As Tracy told Nate she is ‘really happy’ for him, the pair gazed into one another’s eyes and soon rushed to embrace with a steamy kiss.
After a strategically placed ad break, the camera panned to show a nearly nude Nate sitting on the sofa as Tracy sorted out her trousers.
As the pair were forced into stilted small talk, Tracy quickly admitted: “I thought if I started talking, something sensible might come out.”
Then, Vanessa made a sudden appearance and a flustered Tracy forced Nate to hide.
But after Vanessa stumbled upon the pair, she heard Nate’s phone ring and spied his trousers on the floor – rumbling the rendezvous.
The hot and steamy scene left viewers saying the same thing, as one took to Twitter to write: "Nate.. what a treat!"
Another exclaimed: "Nate & Tracey oh my days!" A third added: "Awwww Nate."
This comes after Emmerdale has stepped back in time to the seventies with a stylised photoshoot ahead of the long-running soap's 50th anniversary.
Cast members Jessie Elland, Rosie Bentham, Katie Hill, Daisy Campbell and Karene Peter donned vintage style outfits to pay homage to 1972 – the maiden year for the Yorkshire-based soap.
Talking about the day, Jessie Elland, who plays Chloe Harris on the Dales, said: "I absolutely loved the shoot. It was so great to see everyone all together in the outfits and dance around to some 70s music. All the girls have been doing such an amazing job on screen, so it was great to get to celebrate with them during this shoot!"
Rosie Bentham, who plays ambitious Gabby Thomas, agreed, adding: "Doing this shoot was so much fun for everyone involved. Choosing the outfits and getting all made up, really got us all excited for the 50th celebrations.
"There’s so much exciting stuff going on in the anniversary episodes, and it was nice to play around with costume and makeup to feel proper 70s vibes - with some tunes on too! I’m so lucky to be involved in such an exciting, and a huge moment in history, for Emmerdale."
