Emmerdale fans are convinced that they know who pushed Caleb Milligan as he was seen tumbling off a woodland ridge before being left for dead by the mystery assailant. It's fair to say that Celeb, who arrived in the village in December as Cain Dingle's long-lost brother, hasn't got many fans at the moment.
During Thursday night's trip to the Dales (June 15), viewers saw the character, played by Will Ash, lashing out at everyone after they turned their back on him following the unravelling of his plan to bring Kim Tate down in order to get his hands on Home Farm, which he believes is his birthright after discovering his father was the late Frank Tate.
Since his plan, which included getting his son Nicky to pretend to be in love with Gabby Thomas and marry her, was exposed in scenes Emmerdale fans branded the 'best ever', the Dingle and Tate clans have made clear their disdain for the newcomer, as has former love interest Leyla Cavanagh.

And as they all continued to make it clear they wanted him gone from the village, the villagers were seen all united against Caleb during a tense altercation in the pub. Squaring up to them all, Caleb didn't hold back in taking verbal potshots at each of them.
Exasperated with the spectacle, Chas Dingle threw him out as brother Cain was held back by his wife Moira, whose farm has been left in tatters due to Caleb's scheming. Caleb soon walks away and finds himself in the woods, screaming into thin air the frustrations of what's been happening became too much.
But unbeknownst to him, a mystery figure had pursued him and as he let out his emotions on a woodland ridge, Caleb was blindsided when the unknown figure suddenly emerged and pushed him over the edge, leaving his lifeless body sprawling on the ground below.
Viewers then saw the named suspects, including Chas, Leyla, Mack, Cain and Will, all back at home or going about their business as normal. But fans of the soap think that those included in the intimidating promo shot for the shock storyline is just a red herring as they claim to know the real culprit.
