Emmerdale fans have made a grim prediction about how the Kyle shooting drama will end, as viewers reckon that Matty will "blab" about what he knows. During tonight's episode, Matty finally learned the truth about what happened to Al in the barn.
After a visit to Cain, whom he was hoping would tell him what really happened, Matty was still left with a niggling feeling that all was not as it seemed. And it fell on Mackenzie to tell him the truth.
In a candid chat tonight, the pair discussed what had really happened - with Matty being sworn to secrecy. Demanding to know the truth, Matty said: "In case you hadn't noticed, I am part of this family. What are you hiding?"

At this point, Mackenzie had no option but to come clean. He said: "Kyle shot Al, Kyle followed Cain up to the barn and Kyle shot Al." Shocked, Matty asked if Mackenzie was "having [him] on".
"No, Cain brought the gun to scare Al but he never had any intention of using it. Once that worked he put the gun down, but then they started scrapping and that's when Kyle arrived", Mackenzie said, "Kyle was terrified, he thought that Al was gonna kill his dad, so he picked up the gun and he shot Al. It was an accident"
Matty then put two and two together, asking if Cain was covering for Kyle. "Yeah, we all are. And, as of this moment, you are too", Mackenzie said, making it very clear that Matty was to tell no one what he knew.
But, far from being shellshocked by the revelation that Kyle had killed Al, Matty seemed more fussed about being kept in the dark by Moira. When Mackenzie told him that it was Moira who had shared the news, Matty replied: "But she decided not to tell me? Thanks for that mum".
Later in the episode, Matty told Mackenzie that Moira needed to bring Kyle back to the village - as she had taken him away for his own good - insisting that little Kyle needs therapy or someone to talk to. But when Mackenzie said that was not possible, Matty took matters into his own hands.
Speaking to his mum on the phone, he told Moira: "Mum, you need to come home - or I don't know what I might do." And fans reckon that this means Matty is preparing to "blab" about what he knows.
