Emmerdale fans are convinced Kim Tate will be left heartbroken as a character makes a huge return.
In tonight's episode, Kim (Claire King) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) continued to clash over the christening, with Kim desperate for her granddaughter Millie to attend the big family event.
Millie is the daughter of Andrea Tate, who tragically died at the hands of evil Meena Jutla, and Jamie Tate - who was presumed dead when his car crashed into a lake. However, viewers at home know Jamie is very much alive and is living with Millie and her grandmother Hazel far away from the village, something Kim is none the wiser about.
Determined to placate Kim about holding the christening, Gabby went to visit Hazel and asked if there was any way that Millie might be able to make the celebrations as Kim would have loved for her to be there.
Hazel told her it wasn't possible as Millie was still unwell, but she was forced to retract her story when Millie appeared behind her and seemed to be doing just fine. As Gabby left, Hazel made a panicked call to Jamie to insist she had to go to the christening now, but vowed she would be alongside Millie the whole time so she couldn't reveal the truth about her dad.
Now fans of the ITV soap are predicting there will be heartbreak ahead for Kim as she finds out the truth about her son Jamie.
"Millie is definitely gonna let slip that her dad is alive calling it now, or Jamie turns up at the christening tomorrow. #Emmerdale," one wrote, as a second shared: "Jamie Tate is back… #Emmerdale."
Another added: "Millie looks pretty good for supposedly being sick. Now what is Hazel & Jamie going to do? she's a kid & I won't be surprised if Millie lets something slip at the christening. #Emmerdale."
" #Emmerdale So are we all in agreement that Jamie and Millie are going to turn up at the christening?," a third shared, with a fourth writing: "if this christening drama isnt to bring back jamie then what is the point #Emmerdale."
It comes after Claire teased there could be trouble ahead if Kim found out the truth about Jamie.
"No one has told me, but I do know it’s going to be action-packed," she said, "I think all the stuff with Jamie might raise its ugly head, as Kim thinks Jamie is dead and hasn’t seen Millie - I know she’ll want to see her granddaughter."
Bosses have also teased Jamie could make a surprise return, adding: "We know that Jamie Tate is actually still alive and so obviously that information is still to come out. Who's going to find out? And what will they do once they know?
"We know what a tough cookie Kim is, but we also know that Jamie is her Achilles heel. I'm pretty sure we can expect huge fireworks if she ever finds out just how much he betrayed her."
