Emmerdale fans are predicting a 'dead' character will return to the village to put Meena Jutla behind bars for good.
The evil serial killer was finally caught by police and charged with the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Ben Tucker and Andrea Tate as well as the attempted murders of multiple residents including Victoria Sugden, Leyla Cavanagh, Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle. She was also charged with kidnapping Dawn Taylor and Billy Fletcher.
However, fans of the ITV soap are sure one character - presumed to be dead - will return to give evidence at Meena's upcoming trial and put her away in prison for good, as other characters try and extract a confession out of her.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the 'dead' character - and are convinced Andrea could return.
"Andrea isn’t dead she will be back in the court case she is in a police safe house," one wrote, whilst another was convinced there was a "twist coming" and likened it to another soap.
"There is a twist coming. In Hollyoaks, everyone thought Sid was dead after Victor stabbed him. He kind of died in Ste's arms but he came back after Victor was arrested and said he was in a police safe house."
Another fan suggested Andrea might still be alive because her body was never seen by viewers.
"The ones she murdered we saw their bodies or just before their died," they said, "With Andrea she was still alive what if someone picked up on the Talker thing. I don’t think Andrea is dead and there is a twist coming."
Actress Anna Nightingale previously teased the possibility of Andrea making a return.
She told OK! magazine: "I love the fan theories. I don't go looking for them, but when they get sent to me I love it. "That sounds pretty epic. I would love it. On both parts at the moment, it's a chapter done, but you know never know, so never say never.
"That version of Andrea's a reality sounds really cool. I'd love to imagine her in some witness protection house, plotting how she's going to return not only for Kim but for Meena as well. I'd like to live in that world. That sounds amazing."
