Emmerdale fans not happy Samson is alive as they try to figure out how

Emmerdale viewers have hit out at writers after Samson Dingle was found alive after a three-day search.

Following a devastating storm which has wreaked havoc in the village and claimed the lives of Liv Flaherty and Harriet Finch, many others have been left injured or gone missing. One of them was Amelia's baby daddy Samson Dingle.

Viewers suspected he would be the next villager to be killed off, however, he was found covered in leaves not too far from where his phone had been recovered. The surprise discovery did however not sit well with fans.

Carl Adams commented: "Well he's alive. I thought he was dead."

Others criticised the police work after Samson was found relatively close to where his phone had been discovered.

Nichola D said: "Well it wasn't a very good sweep by the local Emmerdale police...Samson was only about 10ft away from where the phone was found!!"

Paul tweeted: "So a police force cannot find Samson? The soap writing is infuriating, he is actually about 20 feet from the location."

Angenevs asked: "Are you telling me they haven’t looked in the vicinity his phone was found?"

Leon O'Sullivan commented: "An initial sweep?! He's under some leaves about 10 feet from where his phone was!"

Sukavi said: "Who needs the emergency services when you have Emmerdale villagers. Dealt with the storm by themselves, own search parties even find the missing. Where even was docs Liam, Manpreet and nurse Wendy."

And Rose Alex Claridge wrote: "The police have searched near where the phone was found? How bad are these coppers. He's right under where the phone was!"
