Emmerdale fans are all in agreement over newcomer Gail Hancock as she cares for Marlon Dingle.
Marlon, who suffered a stroke last week, is on a long road to recovery after losing his ability to communicate. Marlon's struggles to form easy words have caused him a lot of distress, but fortunately, his nurse Gail has been on hand to reassure him.
Appearing in several episodes, Gail, played by Elizabeth Boag, has urged Marlon not to worry about his condition. Her caring nature has been praised by viewers, with some fans saying they would like to see Gail as a permanent character.
