Emmerdale fans have voiced their upset after Tuesday's episode wound to a close on ITV.
Viewers saw an emotional Leyla make a pass at an unsuspecting Jai, only for Laurel to catch the exact moment and think the worst. It came after Jai tried to comfort Leyla amid her divorce from Liam.
Jai told Leyla he didn't think of her as any more than a friend, before hurrying off to find Laurel.

Elsewhere, Paddy returned to the village after being missing for weeks. It was an eventful episode that seemed to be over in a flash.
And as the credits rolled, many fans were disappointed, as there won't be another instalment of Emmerdale until Thursday. Taking to Twitter, Ashley said: "That's it until Thursday? Gutted with that".
While Jeff said: "See you all Thursday". David said "That episode went too fast!" Ryan said: "Literally football on both sides FGS".
Emmerdale aired at the earlier time of 7pm on Tuesday, and will not air at all on Wednesday, due to ITV instead covering FA Cup football. The broadcaster provided coverage as Bristol City took on Man City on Tuesday (February 28), while Manchester United V West Ham United will air on ITV on Wednesday.
Emmerdale will return to ITV and ITVX at 7pm
