Emmerdale fans in tears as Danny Miller sends message to co-star

Emmerdale's Danny Miller has sent a heartfelt tribute to his co-star Isobel Steele, and it's left some fans in tears.

The Aaron Dingle actor also shared a photo of himself and on-screen sister, Liv, after she met her untimely death during this week's huge storm story-line which coincides with the soap's 50th birthday.

Vinny and Liv fell victim to the storm on Tuesday as they were crushed against a wall by a falling caravan. Although Vinny was able to pick himself up from the wreckage, Liv remained heavily wounded, stating she couldn't feel her legs.

The storm slowly resided allowing emergency services to tend to the scene but Paddy was in the unfortunate position of delivering some terrible news. As Vinny questioned why it was taking so long to help Liv get up, Paddy explained she wouldn't make it out alive.

The caravan crushed Liv to the extent it was the only thing keeping her alive and if it was removed would cause too much damage to her vital organs. Vinny, Paddy, Al and Mandy broke down in tears, realising there was nothing they could do and were forced to say their goodbyes.

On Thursday, Danny took to Twitter to wish his "best friend" well after her Emmerdale departure. He said: "The moment that young girl walked into the room and delivered what was an outstanding performance.

"Myself and everyone in that very room knew we had a rising star on our hands. Now, she leaves a woman with the world at her feet. My best friend, my little sister, my Liv."

A follow-up tweet from Danny added: "@Isobel_steele - thank you for the last 7 years. The bond Aaron & Liv had was incomparable. Nobody ever came close. And that’s why you’ll always be in my life. Your Mum, Dad & Con will be so proud. Onward and upwards now for you our kid! Love you mate. See you at the caravan".

Fans were quick to comment, with many sharing they were emotional. Vanessa said: "I’ve only just stopped crying. Cheers for starting me off again".

Michelle Heaton said: "She's been amazing, gutted she is going. Last night was too emotional". Leann Hatcher said she was "heartbroken", while Megs added: "You guys actually melt my heart".
