Emmerdale viewers were confused as Amelia Spencer named her baby on tonight's show.
Monday's episode continued to explore the fallout of the devastating storm which ripped through the village. Amelia went into labour as the ferocious weather hit the Yorkshire Dales.
She has since given birth to a daughter in dramatic scenes broadcast last week. The character, played by Daisy Campbell, was concerned in tonight's show as the baby dad, Samson, was still missing after he was caught up in the storm.

Samson was found by Noah and was introduced to his child for the first time at the end of the episode. However, fans were shocked when he told the baby he did not want her to be in his life.
However, fans following the show on Twitter were distracted during the disturbing scene after Amelia revealed the baby's name earlier in the episode. Harriet Finch died trying to find Amelia in last week's episode.
Viewers were convinced she was going to name the baby after the heroic character or after her mum, Ali. However, they were shocked when she revealed the baby was going to be called Esther.
