Emmerdale fans were left heartbroken and 'in tears' after Paddy Kirk made an emotional plea to Marlon Dingle following his sudden health battle in the latest episode. The aftermath of Marlon's devastating stroke which aired in scenes on Monday, March 21 has left the village in shock.
But Marlon's best friend Paddy Kirk, played by Dominic Brunt, has struggled to cope following the news and during Wednesday night's episode was putting off going to visit him in hospital from fear he wouldn't remember who he was. After finally arriving at the hospital, where Marlon was still unconscious following the operation to remove the blood clot, Paddy started crying and pleaded with his best friend to "come back" to him.
Just moments after his emotional outburst, Marlon, played by Mark Charnock, opened his eyes and a hopeful Paddy looked on shocked. He asked Marlon to "blink twice" if he recognised who he was, but sadly Marlon just continued to stare. Paddy then got up and walked out of the hospital telling a nurse as he passed that Marlon was awake.
