Emmerdale fans have dubbed Naomi as 'gullible' for believing Alex's lies.
Alex was caught meeting a 'mystery woman' outside the Emmerdale village on Tuesday night leaving viewers guessing who she could be. But fans dubbed Naomi as 'foolish' when he revealed the mystery woman was an old friend, Claire, who he helped with money at times - they claimed she was 'gullible' for believing his lies.
It was later revealed in the episode Alex and Claire were planning a 'big pay day' to pay off drug debts. But it was not revealed what part Naomi has to play in their plot yet.
Tuesday's (March 21) episode of Emmerdale saw Alex reveal to Naomi that the 'mystery woman' he had been spotted giving a wad of cash to outside the village was in fact a friend, who's dad he had met while in prison. Naomi believe her loving boyfriend Alex and warned him not to lie to her again - he planned a romantic meal to make it up to her.
But fans weren't convinced by his 'lies' calling Naomi gullible for believing him.

The episode ended with a twist as Alex and Claire met up again, this time the pair were seen sharing a kiss. Alex then revealed that they did have a 'plan', as fans suspected. They admitted they were both playing parts in a plot to pay off drug debts, Alex said: "Dating Naomi worked a trick, I have them wrapped around my finger."
Claire replied: "I cant bare the fact you're playing a love story, I miss ya."
Alex added: "I cant do this without you, I promise our pay day is coming soon and it'll be worth it."
