Emmerdale fans disgusted by Chloe's unlikely romance fresh from split

Emmerdale fans have shared their surprise as an unlikely new relationship could be on the cards following tonight's episode.

While much of the evening was devoted to Manpreet Sharma, as she prepares to appear in court for Meena Jutla's trial, it is another duo who have got everyone talking. Namely, Chloe Harris and Nate Robinson.

Toward the end of the episode, the pair are spotted enjoying a cosy evening together at the pub. However, their night out doesn't last long, as Chloe suggests they had back to Nate's to order a takeaway.

Chloe, of course, is fresh from her split with Noah, and the pairing comes as Nate has been turning to alcohol as he struggles through a difficult time.

Reacting to the pair's flirting, a twitter user called @aaron_dingles said: "Nate and Chloe, possibly the two current most pointless and worst characters so of course the terrible trio think we want to see them flirting and have a thing."

Equally unimpressed, @Matt528chap wrote: "Nate and Chloe? You have got to be joking?! This is as bad as both him and Moria and Jacob and Maya in 2019!"

And @sofaneilas added: "Chloe & Nate. Like father like son and as always its the young lass thats in the wrong," complete with a puking emoji.

@AVFCLil also felt the timing would not help Chloe's character development.

The fan explained: "They needed to develop Chloe more before having her involved in men drama. Noah. Jacob. Now Nate. I feel like we still really know nothing about who she as a person is."
