Emmerdale fans are convinced Meena Jutla will 'die in prison' after suffering a traumatic injury.
The evil serial killer - played by Paige Sandhu - is currently in prison after being charged for a string of her crimes, including the murder of Andrea Tate, Ben Tucker and Leanna Cavanagh as well as the kidnapping of many village residents.
However, some fans fear Meena may die in prison before the case even gets chance to go to trial as she is currently nursing a rib injury - expected to be from her fall from the bridge after she was pushed off by Liam Cavanagh.
And now fans are convinced she will die in prison from an undetected injury.
Meena has been clutching her side throughout her scenes with Charles as the vicar visits her in prison in a bid to get a confession out of her. However, Charles was taken aback after Meena's confession about his ex-lover Andrea's death.
"Who thinks Meena is going to die from internal bleeding? She keeps heavy breathing and clutching her ribs… # Emmerdale," one fan suggested, as another added: "Is Meena going to die in prison???"
"I think Meena has internal injuries and could die in her cell," a third wrote.
A fourth added: "I don’t think Meena is very well? Is she going to die & cheat justice?," with a fifth penning on social media: "Meena will probs die of internal bleeding in prison #emmerdale."
It comes after show bosses teased Meena will get some sort of "judgement day".
"I think it's fair to say that judgement day for Meena is coming. But whether she'll get away with murder you're going to have to wait and find out," executive producer Jane Hudson teased to The Mirror and other press earlier this year.
"There are still some more twists and turns to be had in this story. Some that you probably won't see coming but I think we can all agree that Meena can pretty much do anything."
She added: "But yes, Meena's judgement day is coming. It won't play out quite as you expect, there will be a lasting effect on a lot of the villagers but I think within the next few months, Meena will get what's coming with her."
