Emmerdale fans have been left concerned for Zak Dingle - after he made his return to the ITV soap tonight.
Zak - played by Steve Halliwell - first made an appearance in the Dales in 1994 and has appeared more sporadically in the show recently. As the Dingles discussed whether they should let Caleb back in the family after what he had done to Kim, as well as Moira and Cain after sabotaging their farm and livelihood in his big plan.
Caleb had been trying to steal all of Kim's money, which he thought was rightfully his as Frank Tate was his father. He has since apologised to the Dingles for lying to them about his intentions, with the family deciding to hold a Dingle Court to decide his fate.
The family use this as a way of making big decisions, and fans were delighted to see Zak return for the scenes. However, some expressed their worry, saying he looked frail and ill.
One shared: "Zak looks so poorly! #Emmerdale," as another added: "Zak is looking ill #Emmerdale."
"Omg our Zak! He looks 108 omg #emmerdale," a third wrote, with a fourth adding: "Poor old zak is looking peaky there."
Some fans, though, were delighted to see him back and called for more scenes with the soap icon.
"Yay Zak!! #Emmerdale all we needed was Dingle court and he came back," one wrote, as a second added: "Wheyyy they’ve wheeled out Zak #emmerdale." A third shared: "I love uncle Zak, great to see him #emmerdale."
In huge scenes last week, Kim finally revealed exactly how she found out Caleb was lying to her and what happened.
"You were just trying too hard Caleb. Call it a sixth sense, I had this little voice in my head telling me to be careful. I’ve got where I am today listening to that little voice," Kim told him.
"Every time you solved a problem at the drop of a hat, the voice got louder. Screwing over your new family to get the farm, I was impressed. That naughty little move set a few alarm bells off for Will."
She added: "I just thought you were another flashy boy trying to get a piece of the pie. The funny thing is what finally gave you away. The song. A song I’d been listening to by myself and not long after you were happily singing away. Forever in blue jeans."
