Emmerdale fans raised concerns during Friday's episode, when the soap "cut to the adverts early".
The week's final instalment of the long-running ITV soap saw Dawn at home with her friend's daughter. It came after Dawn found her late friend Beth's child, Clemmie, sleeping in a dog bed in the care of a woman who was too "strung out" on drugs to look after.
Feeling there was no other option, Dawn took the child home and let her stay the night.

But when Harriet returned home she was not happy. She told Dawn it was "abduction" and urged her to contact social services immediately.
Dawn shouted at Harriet, explaining Clemmie had been abandoned and "didn't know her mum was dead". Viewers then heard a door slam, and Clemmie was nowhere to be seen.
After a panicked Harriet and Dawn ran out to look for her, the ad break began, some five minutes into the episode. Soap fans were taken aback, as the break usually comes later on in the half-hour programme.
Taking to Twitter, Orchid Foxy said: "Only been on 5 minutes and an ad already!". Jess said: "No way has it cut out to the ads after five mins, what's going on?" and ASuperGav said: "That was all of 5 mins for part one?"
Thankfully for viewers, the show quickly returned after a short break and continued as normal.
