Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans spotted something they "cannot unsee" during Tuesday's episode.
Mary Goskirk came out as gay to Kim Tate last year, but apart from a brief kiss with an unsuspecting Vanessa Woodfield, she has since remained single. Recently, however, Rhona's mum has been experimenting with dating apps.
She had her first date, which she said did not go well.

Mary told Rhona "don't ask" before explaining the woman seemed very flirty and bold in her messages, but more passive in the flesh. She then explained it had come to light the woman's children had been sending the messages on her behalf.
Not put off, Mary said she had another date that afternoon. She said that after wanting to "go for it" for decades, she wasn't going to let one bad experience put her off.
Later Mary came into the Woolpack and began chatting to Bob after he served her a glass of wine. But some viewers were left confused as to how she had paid for the drink after spotting what was in her hand.
Beneath her wine glass, a Tesco Clubcard could be seen in a number of shots. Taking to Twitter, Jessica said: "Has... Mary just bought a drink in the Woolpack with her Tesco Clubcard? I actually can't unsee this".
@N3WP0W3R said: I didn't realise the Woolpack took Tesco Clubcard points as payment", while Deano said: "Mary paying with her Tesco Clubcard? [laughing emoji]".
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX
