Emmerdale viewers were baffled on Friday, as missing Samson Dingle's phone appeared to move from one location to another all by itself.
The smashed-up mobile was shown to viewers on Thursday in a field, as Samson's loved ones realised he had not been home during the storm.
But the opening to Friday's visit to the Dales showed the same phone with the same smashed screen in a new location.
This time it was by a tree in what appeared to be woodlands, and later in the episode, Belle Dingle found it in this very same place.
But fans were confused, as they couldn't see how the phone had moved from the field to the woods given Samson was missing.
Viewers also found out that Samson was injured and possibly dead, as he was shown buried under some leaves in a tunnel area in the woods, not far from his phone.
So if Samson has been in the tunnel all this time, fans couldn't work out how his phone got from the first location to the second.
They quickly suggested the "miraculous" movement was in fact a continuity blunder, while perhaps this will be explained in another episode.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Just watched yesterday back, Samson’s phone was in a field under a stick.. and now it’s in the woods."
Another said: "Amazing how Samson's phone in # emmerdale miraculously moved from the middle of a field to the woods since last night's episode."
A third viewer tweeted: "So Samson’s phone was in a field yesterday and today it’s in the woods - great continuity and the runner runs with their eyes closed."
Meanwhile, another fan wrote: "Thought Samson's mobile was in a field, not a forest?" a fifth said: "eh??? I thought Samson's phone was in the field, now it's miraculously in the woods?!"
Samson's fate has yet to be confirmed, while his family do now have his phone.
The teenager stormed off after a row with his dad Sam Dingle on Monday and was never seen again.
On Thursday night, fans were alerted to the fact something might have happened to the teenager, as it emerged no one knew where he was.
His stepmother Lydia Dingle was at the hospital with her husband Sam, after he was nearly killed following a cow stampede.
As Sam's fate was revealed, Belle Dingle rushed home to inform her nephew Samson of the good news only to find out his bed hadn't been slept in.
It's then that her dad Zak revealed Samson hadn't been home, and he'd believed his grandson was at the hospital with Lydia.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
