Emmerdale fans were quick to notice one of the Dingles were missing from Faith Dingle's funeral on Friday, as the character was laid to rest.
Someone who was close with Faith was her granddaughter Debbie Dingle, and she did not return for the send-off with fans "annoyed" by this.
Earlier this month Faith died after she took her own life, as her health deteriorated during her battle with terminal cancer.
Her son Cain had found her but he was too late and she passed away in his arms, while her daughter Chas didn't get to say goodbye.
The siblings and their loved ones gathered at the church for their mother's funeral service during Friday's episode.
But viewers had hoped Debbie, played by Charley Webb, would come back for the scenes, given how close she was to her grandmother and their history.
Charley left the role of Debbie in 2019, and has only returned briefly since then as part of a storyline with Al Chapman.
The actress announced this year she had no plans to reprise the role, which is why she did not feature in the funeral scenes.
That said, some fans had hoped for a brief return so that Debbie could say goodbye to her late grandmother.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "I'm still annoyed nothing from Debbie, Faith gave money to sick Sarah."
Another asked: "Why ain't Debbie at her Nan's funeral?"
Meanwhile, actress Sally Dexter reprised her role as Faith for one final scene on Friday, as her family and friends said a final goodbye.
Faith asked for her pal Eric Pollard to read out a letter she had written, which had a message for her children and the other Dingles.
Faith spoke of her regrets in life, and being a bad parent - telling Cain and Chas she loved them more than she could ever say.
The character added that she did not want to be remembered by her cancer, but by who she was.
As the letter was being read out, the camera panned to a flashback from when Faith was alive and was writing the letter.
Faith was shown smiling as she began writing everything down, with Faith's voice also heard reading it out to everyone - taking over from Eric.
As the letter came to an end, Faith was seen placing the pen on the table before she looked up at the camera and smiled.
The episode then went back to the service as Cain and Chas, and others, were shown crying over Faith's final words.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
