One Emmerdale fan has shared a theory about the identity of Nicky's mother and Caleb's wife - and it's a familiar face.
After it was revealed Caleb and Nicky had ulterior motives for being in the village, fans of the ITV soap have been desperate to work out who else is part of their family. There had been hints Caleb might have other children in a chat he had with Leyla, and we know he definitely had a partner or a wife, who is the mum to his son Nicky.
Nicky has been working as a nanny at Home Farm, getting close to the family from the inside, after he struck up a romance with Gabby, whilst Caleb has been working alongside Kim Tate with their business in a bid to win her trust.
There has been much speculation about the identity of Caleb's wife and Nicky's mum - and one fan is convinced they've worked it out.
"Nicky’s mother is none other than Barrister Milligan!!! -MIC DROP- #emmerdale," the viewer shared online, before explaining exactly how they thought it would all tie together - and their theory seems sound so far!
Barrister Milligan was the one who stood alongside Meena Jutla in court, with many suspecting she was going to try and help free Meena from prison. The barrister - played by Amy Robbins - only had a brief role on the show, but if this is true, she could be back very soon to join Caleb and Nicky in creating havoc for the Tates as they want what they think is rightfully theirs.
First, they noted the surnames are very similar. We know Caleb was given that surname by his mum Faith Dingle as it was her maiden name, and it wouldn't be unheard of for the woman to take her husband's name when they got married hence why the barrister could now have the same surname too. They were never in the village together so it was unlikely anyone saw the connection.
The fan then wondered how Caleb would have known his brother Cain was in prison, unless someone he knew was somehow involved in the law, and regularly worked alongside criminals and in courts.
He also paid for the lawyers to get Kyle off the murder charge, but has no money, so unless he had someone related to the law to help him sort things out - like having a barrister for a wife as an example.
We know the family are struggling with money, but is this because the mum has lost her job or struggled to get work after her failed attempt at trying to get Meena out of jail?
The fan went on to explain Caleb has likely known about his father's real identity for years - so why all of the sudden does he need to cash in that knowledge and claim back what he thinks he needs?
