Emmerdale star Fiona Wade is reportedly quitting her role as Priya Sharma after 11 years.
Fiona's character Priya is an active employee of Take A Vow, a wedding planning business that helped to organise Kim Tate and Will Taylor's wedding.
However, the wedding didn't go to plan when a storm hit this month to mark the 50th anniversary of the ITV soap.
The character has also had some huge storylines including her battle with an eating disorder as well as her arranged marriage. Priya has played a key part in a number of other big storylines, making her a favourite character amongst fans.
However, it has been reported by The Sun, that Fiona is departing her role as Priya after over a decade. Her exit storyline is being kept a big secret – and it's not yet been revealed whether it will be linked to the recent devastation of the storm.
The storm has already claimed two lives, that of Harriet Finch and Liv Flaherty, with other lives still hanging in the balance. Sam Dingle was impaled on a tractor after running from a herd of cows, who had stampeded in the weather. He made it out alive and is expected to make a recovery after an emergency operation, whilst Samson Dingle's fate is still up in the air as he remains missing.
Elsewhere, the Dingle family were dealt some tragic news this month as Faith Dingle took her own life amid her breast cancer battle. Actress Sally Dexter – who played Faith – recently teased to The Mirror that there's some drama ahead for the Dingles, as Cain and Al go head to head amid his affair with Cain's sister Chas.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards, Sally said: "Well Al, oh my goodness, there’s something coming up there. I'm not sure how much you know. Viewers should always be looking out for Cain. It's very important."
Elsewhere, actress Isobel Steele has departed her role as Liv when she was crushed by a caravan in heartbreaking scenes.
Liv opened up to her brother who told her she was going to be fine, but it was clear from their heartbreaking final conversation that they both knew it was goodbye. She thanked him for saving her all those years ago.
When Vinny sat down to be with her, he told Liv of all the things they were going to do in the future, whilst a struggling Liv begged him to make sure he lived his life to the fullest. They told each other they were soul mates and that they would see each other again, before Liv told him how happy he made her, only to die in his arms seconds later.
