Emmerdale exit revealed as character makes huge decision about future in village

Emmerdale spoilers have lined up an exit for one character, with it known the actress playing the role will be taking a break from the ITV soap soon.

Vanessa Woodfield will make a big decision about an opportunity to go to Canada next week, and it seems she could go for it.

Viewers may be aware that Vanessa actress Michelle Hardwick is pregnant with her second child, and she is currently on maternity leave.

Her character will have to bow out at some point soon, and it seems this new plot could be what leads to her departure.

ITV has yet to confirm the exit or if Vanessa will return, but it's thought actress Michelle is taking time off ahead of the arrival of her and wife Kate Brooks' second child, before likely returning in the future.

The spoilers confirm an opportunity arrises for Vanessa, and she is unsure if she can let it go.

Pictures show her sat with someone else who isn't fully shown, but it could be Vanessa's love interest Suzy Merton.

Vanessa is shown contemplating her future, before she finally makes a decision about Canada.

So will this be her departure, and what does it mean for her life in the village having only returned late last year?

It seems this will pave the way for an upcoming exit, even if she doesn't end up going to Canada.

Michelle and partner Kate, one of the producers on Emmerdale, recently spoke of their baby joy, and confirmed they are expecting a baby girl.

Speaking on Loose Women in August, Michelle said: "It seems to have flown by, this one. The first twelve weeks this time round, yeah, there was quite a bit of morning sickness.”

Michelle, who welcomed son Teddy with Kate in 2020, went on: "He's [Teddy] going to have a little sister," She continue: "We didn't know with Teddy. We thought the whole way through that Teddy was a little girl, I don't know why we never had the scan or anything."

More details on Vanessa's exit will no doubt be revealed soon, with her thought to be making her departure in the coming weeks.
