Emmerdale’s David has jeopardised his relationship with Victoria after he framed her for his driving offence in an episode moved online to make way for ITV's World Cup coverage instead.
David was recently caught speeding so in an attempt to protect his driver’s licence he secretly named Victoria as the driver rather than himself, meaning she would get the point instead of him.
In Friday's episode - that has been moved for World Cup coverage and won't be shown on TV until Sunday night - David’s birthday was off to a rocky start as he received a letter from the police addressed to Victoria which contained all the details of his lies.

In an attempt to fix his relationship he went straight to the police station and told the truth. However Victoria has been pushed to the edge as she revealed that she hasn’t been happy for a long time.
David’s fraudulent actions left her with no choice but to walk away from him as she was seen leaving the house with a suitcase.
She bumped into David, who looked shocked as he asked: “Vic what are you doing?” Victoria replied: “What does it look like I’m doing?”
David continued: “Can we not talk about this?” Frustrated Victoria said: “I’ve tried to talk about it over and over but you are to wrapped up in the world of David to think of anything other than yourself.”
David said: “That’s not true.” Victoria went on: “You're a child David. A stupid, spoilt, weak, selfish little child and I’m done looking after you.”
David told her: “I love you.” But Victoria dropped a bombshell as she added: “I know you do but not enough I’m sorry David but it’s over.”
