Emmerdale's Chas Dingle is lonely this Christmas, as she finds herself abandoned by the Dingles following the reveal of her affair with Al Chapman.
It's obviously more complicated too due to Al's recent murder at the hands of 10-year-old Kyle Winchester, while his dad Cain Dingle has taken the blame.
Cain knows all about his sister Chas' affair with Al, and it was this fling that led to Cain and Al having a deadly showdown.
Viewers later saw though that Kyle had followed them to the barn, and it was him who shot Al.
A few of the residents now know the truth about Kyle, and they have been trying to cover it up – only for Kyle to struggle with his secret.
This Christmas, viewers will see Chas desperate to make amends as everyone finds out how she betrayed her husband Paddy Kirk with Al.
On the big day, Chas drops off some Christmas presents for the Dingles as well as a small birthday present for Belle.
But they are left acting hostile towards her leaving her heartbroken as she heads out, with it clear they are not ready to forgive her.
She instead decides to find solace in the closed and empty Woolpack, but doesn't get what she's hoping for.
Instead, she's mortified to find Paddy and Eve with Marlon's family in full Christmas swing.
She and Paddy have to continue their ceasefire out of consideration for their daughter, only for things to get very awkward at the dinner.
Chas quietly leaves with her mother’s firework in tow, planning to set it off following her death in October.
She also visits the grave of her late daughter Grace and reflects on recent events on her own.
Faith has left her a card for Christmas, and Chas decides to read it at the graveyard – and she soon gets emotional over her loss.
Suddenly, a stranger approaches her at the graveside and drops a huge bombshell on her that leaves her stunned.
Just as Faith's firework goes off, Chas learns big news which will no doubt be life-changing.
It comes as Chas is also about to find out that she has a secret brother, as Caleb makes his arrival over Christmas.
Chas has no idea her mother Faith had a secret son, but her brother Cain has known for 30 years – and the truth will finally come out.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
