There are sure to be fireworks when an Emmerdale character returns to the village.
Next week, it has been confirmed we’ll see Chloe Harris, played by Jessie Elland, back in Emmerdale. Last month, Chloe and Sarah Sugden headed to Scotland.
This was good news for Mackenzie Boyd, who is the father of Chloe's unborn baby, a fact few in the village know. Of course, Mackenzie is engaged to marry Charity Dingle this summer and wants to keep his cheating secret.

Chloe explains that she's only back for a medical appointment and will soon be moving to Scotland permanently. Although, that doesn’t mean things will go smoothly.
After previously interviewing stars Jessie Elland and Lawrence Robb, who plays Mackenzie Boyd, they’ve revealed a little hint of what the future might hold for their characters.
Lawrence said: “I do love working with you (as he turned to Jessie). I think sometimes they (their characters) hate each other and then two days down the line it might go back. I guess, they have got a common denominator in their child. If the writers were to explore it (a stable relationship between Mackenzie and Chloe) then it wouldn’t be unheard of.”
Jessie added: “They butt heads quite a lot.” Lawrence added: “They do. Although, I don’t know if you can call that a spark or not.”

Lawrence said should Charity discover Mackenzie is the father of Chloe’s baby then his character’s world ‘crumble’. We’ll have to see what the coming weeks hold.
