Emmerdale's cast and crew are preparing to celebrate the ITV soap's 50th anniversary with a huge storm week, set to change the village for ever.
Away from the show, a new photo has been released of some of the stars of the show coming together to celebrate the big milestone.
Some of your favourite village residents look very different to their soap alter-egos, undergoing glam makeovers for the stunning snap.
Martelle Edinborough, Kevin Mathurin, Louise Jameson, Darcy Grey, Lawrence Robb, Emile John, Jessie Elland and Karene Peter all starred in the photo.
The group are thought to be featuring in the big episodes, after bosses teased most if not all of the characters would have a part to play.
Several of the group are newcomers, only joining onscreen this year - while the others arrived in either 2020 or 2021.
Saying this, all of them have been at the centre of huge storylines leading up to the 50th, from a shocking attack, to a stalking horror and a current affair twist.
Also, each of the actors were cast by Emmerdale ’s Casting Director, Faye Styring, who has been casting the show for seventeen years.
Faye said: "As a team we are passionate about finding new talent and the right actor for the role. All of these actors have really made their own mark on the show already."
Louise, who plays Mary Goskirk on the show, actually appeared on the soap before as a different character in 1973, a year after Emmerdale first launched.
She spilled of being back for the big milestone in her new role: "I’m so thrilled to be part of Emmerdale’s iconic 50th celebrations.
"To be working in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with such an amazing team. Fifty years ago one of my first jobs was playing Sharon Crosswaite on Emmerdale Farm, then a humble lunchtime show, and now here I am again, full circle. I couldn’t be happier."
One of the show's most recent arrivals, actress Karene who plays Naomi Walters, also shared her thoughts on being a part of the milestone.
She said: “It’s been great joining the show at such an iconic moment in time! Everyone has been super welcoming and it feels like I’ve been here forever!”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV Hub
