Soap actors Jamie Lomas and Charley Webb have shared the heartbreaking news that their mother has died on Mother’s Day after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

The siblings, known for their roles in Hollyoaks and Emmerdale respectively, revealed that their mother Helen had been living with the illness for more than a decade.
