When Marcus responded with a call of his own, Vanessa interfered, pretending to be Rhona and asking Marcus not to worry.

As fans eagerly await for the storyline to unfold, they've started to look at the actor playing Marcus Dean, with many calling him a "hunk".

They want to know exactly who Darcy Grey is and how he bagged the role in the show.

He's now 30 years old.

This made him fluent in both Spanish and English but when it came to his drama education, he trained at Drama Centre London.

But his training actually took him to Moscow where he continued his education at the Boris Schukin Institute.

While he's not fluent in Russian, he does have a good grasp of the language.

He married his wife, Christine Lisowski in 2014.

What did Darcy do before Emmerdale?

Emmerdale is his first big break but he has appeared in short films and TV movies.

These include A Warriors Afterline, Certified Mail, Verrater and Snakebite Protection Chronicles.

In a recent interview, he did also reveal that shortly before Emmerdale, he was actually selling 'posh dog food'.

In an interview with Entertainment Daily, he said: "It’s just such a funny thing, it’s such a weird thing to do. I’ve always sort of been a bit embarrassed by it but basically I was selling posh dog food, which is the most bizarre thing.”
