Former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been told that a switch to Arsenal would suit him "perfectly" as he continues to be linked with a return to the Premier League. Both the Blues and Mikel Arteta's men have been rumoured to be considering a switch for the Englishman.
Abraham of course only departed Stamford Bridge last summer as he sealed a £34million switch to AS Roma. The striker has found some seriously impressive form in the Italian capital having netted 24 goals in all competitions during his debut campaign.
It is suggested that he could be the ideal candidate to fill a few attacking vacancies in London. Arsenal are thought to be on the hunt for a new forward, with the futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah both up in the air. Meanwhile, Chelsea could potentially add to their attacking options ahead of next season as Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner continue their inconsistent displays.

Having played for both clubs, Emmanuel Petit has suggested Abraham would be better suited to Arsenal.
Speaking with Genting Casino, the Frenchman said: "I'm pretty sure he [Abraham] wants to come back to England and he would fit perfectly at Arsenal because he’s a different player to Alexandre Lacazette with a different style, different physique and he’s a goalscorer.
"Even at Chelsea he was scoring goals, not as many as he wanted, but he’s 24 years old so he still has a lot to learn."
That is a sentiment shared by former Liverpool wideman John Barnes who has also told that the Gunners could be excellent candidates for Abraham’s services should he elect to seek a move back to the Premier League.
As quoted by BonusCodeBets, he said: "If Abraham wants to come back to England and it’s not going to work at Chelsea, Arsenal would be a fantastic club for him. They need a centre forward - Lacazette looks like he’s going, Aubameyang’s not there and Nketiah may not be the answer.
"If Abraham wants to come back to London, it would be a good move for him and a good move for Arsenal."
The 24-year-old still has over four years left to run on his current Roma contract, whilst Chelsea could hold the advantage as they retain a buy-back clause - an agreement that becomes active in the summer of 2023.
